Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do I have to show my work? Yes. You will never be marked down for showing your work. However, you frequently will
be marked down for NOT showing your work.
When are Quizzes or Tests? Usually once every week or 2 on Monday or Friday.
When are Tutorials? Usually Monday and Thursday at lunch.
Do I have to buy a graphing calculator? No. I highly
recommend it for checking your work and for learning how graphing
calculators work. However, we have a class set available for use in the
classroom.
When am I ever going to use this? All the time. Math
teaches you how to think. It is not, however, vocational training. No
one can predict at this time what occupation you may have in the
future. Math is part of a standard liberal arts education.
