MATH GRADING POLICY

The following scale will be used to determine report card grades:

90 - 100%

80 - 89%

70 - 79%

60 - 69%

0 - 59%

LATE WORK POLICY
Homework assignments are due at the beginning of the class (approximately the first five minutes.) All other work is considered late and will not be accepted.

MAKE-UP WORK POLICY
It is highly recommended that class is missed as little as possible. There is a high correlation between absences and failures in mathematics.

When absent, it is the PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY of the student to complete any assignments missed as a result of an absence, excused or otherwise. If the teacher does not have time during class to give out missing assignments, then the student has the following options: ask a classmate, come at lunch or after school for this information, or check online at www.pgpowerschool.org.

For each day absent, there is allowed one day to make-up late work. For example, if a student is absent on Monday only, the assignment previously due on Monday, is due on Tuesday. The assignment previously due on Tuesday, is now due on Wednesday.
