Required Materials
- Zipper pouch or pencil box
- 2 sharp (or mechanical) #2 pencils with erasers
- green/yellow highlighter, pencil, pen or crayon
- red/pink highlighter, pencil, pen or crayon
- ruler (cm & in)
- calculator with square root key and change sign key*
- Assignment calendar (usually provided by the school)
- One 3-ring binder (at least 2 inches)
- Math, English, History and Science Tab dividers all labeled
- binder paper, at least 10
- 1/4" graph paper, at least 10
- 3 by 5 inch index cards, at least 50
- Math journal (usually provided by the school)
*Calculator use will be limited to teacher approval for each specific
assignment. Experience shows that dependence on the calculator can
decrease math performance. In general, only use the calculator to check
work.
