Setting up your "pgusd.org" email account
on Netscape:
Netscape Communicator 4.5 and newer (with pictures)
- Click on the Menu Bar item called EDIT, select PREFERENCES

- In the "Category" window, open the section on "Mail
& Groups"
----> (if not open, click on
the "+")

- In the "Category" window, click on IDENTITY
Enter your full name in the box: YOUR NAME:
----> example: Bob Schmidt
- Enter your full email address in the EMAIL ADDRESS:
----> example: bschmidt@pgusd.org

- In the "Category" window, click on MAILSERVER
In the upper-right box "Incoming Mail Servers" select
the server, titled MAIL and click EDIT to open the "Mail
Server Properties" window

- Enter the SERVER NAME: mail.pgusd.org
Keep the default SERVER TYPE: POP3 Server
Enter your email name in USERNAME:
----> example: bschmidt
If your computer is on-line a lot, you may wish to select the
check box to automatically check for your mail.
- Click the OK button

- Back at the "Mail Servers" window, enter the OUTGOING
(SMTP) SERVER: mail.pgusd.org
Enter your username in the OUTGOING MAIL SERVER USER NAME:
