Assumptions:

1. Bonds will be issued over 4 years
2. District should maximize potential for funding ($2.4 million) of 2 State eligible projects (i.e. High School and Forest Grove) by beginning work on them with first issue.
3. District should proceed with construction of High School project as soon as funds allow-currently creates biggest demand on District maintenance and has not been upgraded since built.
4. District should proceed with Forest Grove second to maximize State funding.
5. District should proceed with Middle School in order to address next highest area of ongoing maintenance demands and needs.
6. District should proceed with Robert Down in order to address next highest need.
7. District should address Community High School as final priority.
8. "Pre-planning"-Site begins early development of ideas for possible bond use consistent with "facility improvement" and bond approval limitations.
9. "Pre-construction"
Architect selected and retained
Project definition
Plan and Specification development
Local approval
State approval
Contract Bid/Award
Generally it takes approximately 9-12 months to design, approve and bid a project of these magnitudes and types

10. "Construction" - Project construction
Generally it takes approximately 9-12 months to construct a project of these magnitudes and types.

11. Projects of these magnitudes will be significantly disruptive to the site and district and phasing is desirable.
