Measure D Status Report – 10/2/06

1. Window Replacement Project - RD.,MS., HS. – HBFL Architects preparing plans and specifications prior to bidding.
Tentative schedule …
   Oct.- preparing base plans;
   Nov. – conducting site reviews;
   Dec – Finalizing plans and specs.
   Jan.- Bidding.
   Feb. – award. Construction - scheduled based on window availability ( possibly a 6 month delivery delay)
   and then coordination with site schedules.
2. Exterior Painting Project – RD,MS – HBFL to prepare bid package after windows in process.
3. Floor replacement Project – MS – HBFL preparing bid package.
   Feb. – bidding;
   April – award; Construction – summer ’07.
4. Music Room project – MS – RFP in process, responses by 10/31,
   Interviews 12/4-8,
   Selection Jan.’07 ; design, approval and construction schedule to follow.
5. Auditorium improvements – MS-RFP in process, responses by 10/31,
   Interviews 12/4-8, S
   Selection Jan.’07 ; design, approval and construction schedule to follow.
6. Stadium reconstruction project – PGHS - RFP in process, responses by 10/31,
   Interviews 12/4-8,
   Selection Jan.’07 ; design, approval and construction schedule to follow.
7. Other projects – 10/5/06 - Board to hear report from Rick Fedelem, HBFL Architects, reviewing prior study
   and evaluations of all district sites.
   10/5/06 - Board to consider retaining consultant to facilitate discussion needed to begin defining
   remaining Measure D projects at study sessions on 10/24 and 11/7
