Minutes of the Special Meeting of February 3, 2004
The Board of Education of the Pacific Grove Unified School District held a special meeting on February 3, at the Pacific Grove Unified School District Office.
I. OPENING BUSINESS
A. Call to Order: 6:30 PM
B. Roll Call: Members Present: Beth Shammas
Jessie Bray
Mark Cameron
Richard Schramm
Mike Niccum
Student Representative
Present: Absent
Administrator Present: Patrick Perry, Superintendent
C. Pledge of Allegiance
D. Adoption of Agenda: MOTION (Schramm/Bray) to adopt agenda. Motion CARRIED 5 to 0
E. Communication:
a. Information related to Closed Session Topic for this evening’s meeting was received and distributed to
the Board of Education.
b. President Shammas noted that an ad hoc committee should be formed to meet with the Superintendent
regarding his contract. Schramm volunteered to serve on the ad hoc committee, along with President Shammas.
Niccum requested that the Board conduct an initial meeting with the Superintendent and that the ad hoc committee follow up after the initial meeting.
c. None

a. Student Discipline/Expulsion – Student #4093
F. Public Comment on Closed Session Items: None
G. Adjourn to Closed Session: 6:39 PM
II. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION: 6:59 PM

a. MOTION (Bray/Cameron) to expel Student #4093. Motion CARRIED 5 to 0
