Minutes of the Meeting of August 28, 2003
The Board of Education of the Pacific Grove Unified School District held a special meeting – study session on August 28, 2003, at the Pacific Grove Unified School District Office.
I. OPENING BUSINESS
A. Call to Order: 7:00 p.m.
B. Roll Call: Members Present: Debi Page
Beth Shammas
Jessie Bray
Anne Hall
Richard Schramm
Board Member-Elect: Michael Niccum
Administrator Patrick Perry, Superintendent
Present:
C. Pledge of Allegiance: Recited.
D. Adoption of Agenda: MOTION (Bray/Schramm) to adopt agenda. Motion CARRIED 5 to 0.
II. STUDY SESSION
A. Board Self-Review: The Board used a self-assessment questionnaire document authored by Eugene Smoley, Jr. as a tool to discuss and review their interactions, processes, procedures and accomplishments during the 2002-2003 school year.
B. Superintendent’s Goals 2003-2004: The Board conducted a discussion in order to assist in the development of goals for the 2003-2004 school year.
III. PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
IV. ADJOURNMENT: 9:00 p.m.
