During "sniffles and sneezes" times of the year:

Here is our rule on sick kids:
If your child has no fever or cough, you may come to Parents' Place. If your child was fussy the night before and you "think" he/she MAY be coming down with something, be considerate and please stay home. As much as you will be missed in class, all those other parents really will thank you for not bringing a sick child to class!

Q. "How do I sign up for a class?" A. You need to call Parents' Place @ 646-6623 to see if there is room available in the class that you are interested in, as many of our classes have waiting lists.
Q. "What is the cost per session?" A. Our fee is a flat materials fee of $80.00 per 13-week session, payable in advance of session start date.
Q. "What happens at the end of 13 weeks? Do I need to sign up again?" A. We send out registration for the next session 2 weeks before the start of the new session. If you wish to remain in the class, we need your registration returned to us by the due date listed on your registration form.
Q. "I heard there is an absence line to call if we are sick or out of town.  What is that number? A. The number is 646-6659.  This is an automated line just for absence info only.  If you miss 3 classes in a row and we haven't heard from you, you will be dropped from the class.
Q. "My child was sick during most of the session and we were gone on vacation, can I get a refund?" A. We do not pro-rate our fee or offer a refund once the first day of the session starts (not the first day of your class in the session).
Q. "I have two little children, can I bring both of them to the class?" A. You may bring the younger child with you to the older child's class, but you may not bring the older child to the younger child's class.
Q. "My child has a runny nose, can I come to class?" A. If there is NO FEVER and the DISCHARGE IS CLEAR you may come to class.
* Remember that if your child is getting over a cold, their immune system may be compromised and therefore more susceptible to the other "bugs" that may be around them.
Q. "Do I drop off my child for these classes?" A. No, you come to the class with your child.
Q. "My husband and I both work during the day, do you have anything that might work for us?" A. Please call us at 646-6623 to see what evening classes are available for our current session.
