- Classes for the youngest babies and toddlers are our priority. Why? From our experience, parents with the youngest babies need the most support. Families with older toddlers have other options like library story times, recreation classes, parks, etc.
- Each session begins with 2 newborn classes.
- Usually, when a class reaches the end of its 8-10 month cycle, it will graduate to a morning class.
- Usually, when a class reaches the age of 24 months, that class will graduate to a "Toddler Plus" class, which has a midday time slot of Noon - 2:00 PM.
- When a child reaches the age of 36 months they graduate out of the "core class" program, and are welcome to attend Art & Science until the age of four (4) years. 3-4 year-olds who want to attend Art & Science should come after 12:00 Noon, so the younger kids can have the room earlier in the day.
- Generally, a class will stay together for most of their cycle at Parents' Place.
- When a class gets too big or we have many people on the waiting list, we may have to split the class in two.
- When a class is too small, we will add it into other existing classes (minimum of 15 people per class).
- Since all of our teachers are mothers, most with young children, teacher availability changes session to session. Therefore information on class transitions and/or projections are often not available as far ahead as you and we would like them to be.
- Please keep in mind that children often adjust to the changes more easily than the adults do!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING
