Joint Communiqué 10/26/2006
The parties met on October 25, 2006. The topics included: (1) compensation, (2) scope of representation, (3) stipends, and, (4) teacher evaluation. On compensation, the parties agreed on some standards to take back to their respective groups related to a cost-of-living adjustment and retaining our competitive ranking with respect to regional Districts.
The parties clarified the scope of representation for certain District positions. The parties began discussion on stipends and evaluations, which will continue at the next meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for November 3, 2006. |
