New Students to PGUSD
New student pre-registration for the 2020-2021 School Year
- Forest Grove Elementary School
- Robert Down Elementary School
- Pacific Grove Middle School

Starting in mid-May, 2020, new parents/guardians will receive notice that pre-registration for the 2020-21 school year has officially opened. The primary parent/guardian contact (the one parent who is primarily responsible for communicating with and providing/receiving information to/from the school and/or district) will be given access to the Illuminate Parent Portal where they will find the district's official online pre-registration form. Illuminate is the district's student information system of record. When completing the pre-registration form, the primary parent/guardian is required to upload a copy of the student’s actual birth certificate AND current proof of residency. Only one parent/guardian (the “primary contact“) will be responsible for completing and submitting the online registration form. Once the school office staff reviews and approves the pre-registration form and its contents, the student will be placed in their class(es) for the new school year.

Returning Students (re-enrolling for 2020-21 who attended in 2019-20)
2020-21 returning-student registration begins online in mid-May, 2020. Current parents/guardians already have an active Illuminate Parent Portal account. The primary parent/guardian contact (the one parent who is primarily responsible for communicating with and providing/receiving information to/from the school and/or district) will receive a notice that the official online registration forms for the 2020-21 school year is available on the Parent Portal starting in mid-May, 2020.
Note: Only one parent/guardian (the “primary contact“) will be responsible for completing and submitting the official Illuminate online registration form. We ask that you finish your online re-enrollment form in a timely manner. This will give the office staff time to process/approve your forms and contact you if there are any questions.
