In case of a Tie
As Resolved on April 21, 2022 "Education Code section 5016 requires the board to establish whether a tie vote of two or more candidates for a term of office shall be determined by a lot or by calling a run-off election and PGUSD has chosen to determine a tie by lot"
Deciding by lot means putting both candidates' names written on slips of paper in a container and picking one.
